Associate/Full Professor in Digital Humanities

Associate/Full Professor in Digital Humanities

The School of Humanities invites outstanding academics to apply for faculty positions in Digital Humanities at the rank of associate or full professor. Applications are welcome from academics in any discipline within the Humanities, with the expectation that they should have expertise in the application of digital technologies to the analysis of large data sets for the purpose of conducting cutting-edge research from a humanistic perspective. Relevant fields include, but are not limited to, Art History, History, Linguistics, Literary Studies, and Philosophy. Successful candidates should have a proven track record of excellence in teaching, research, and publication, including successes in securing grants and, if appropriate to the field(s), working in collaboration with academics in cognate fields. The candidate is expected to play a key role in the School’s ‘Digital Humanities Cluster’, an initiative from an interdisciplinary network of faculty and researchers working in different subject areas sharing a passion in the possibilities of digital solutions for teaching and research.

Emoluments

Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. The University offers a comprehensive fringe benefit package.
