In the spring of 2017, Dr. Marjorie E. (Betsy) Wieseman began her position as Paul J. and Edith Ingalls Vignos Jr. Curator of European Paintings and Sculpture, 1500-1800, at the Cleveland Museum of Art. Prior to coming to Clevaland, Wieseman was Curator of Dutch and Flemish Paintings at the National Gallery in London since 2006. At the National Gallery, Wieseman curated seminal exhibitions, including: Rembrandt: The Late Works (2014–15); Vermeer and Music: The Art of Love and Leisure (2013); and Dutch Portraits: The Age of Rembrandt and Frans Hals (2007).
