The Rubenshuis recently opened a new building to house its library, archive, and research center, as well as a new Rubens Experience Center and the rigorously reimagined Rubens Garden. In our new location, we continue to welcome Visiting Researchers, both junior and senior scholars, for short and longer-term stays. Our new building has carrels designated for Visiting Researchers, and we continue to develop our program providing extensive freedom but also guidance and support to our cohorts of Visiting Researchers.
While we welcome applications for Visiting Research Stays from those with external funding, we are also pleased to cosponsor one fellowship: the Rubenshuis and the Belgian American Educational Foundation’s BAEF-Rubenianum Fellowship. Information about this fellowship and more broadly about research stays can be found here: (https://www.rubenshouse.be/
