Flanders State of the Art Fellowship at the Center for Netherlandish Art

From the President of HNA

Nicolas Polet, Director of Public and Academic Affairs at the Consulate General of Belgium is pleased to inform members of HNA about an exciting opportunity for emerging scholars in the field of Flemish art and culture: The Flanders State of the Art Fellowship at the Center for Netherlandish Art at the Museum of Fine Arts (MFA) in Boston is now open for applications through January 30th.

Made possible by the Government of Flanders, Fellows will be able to conduct independent research connected to the MFA’s collection of Netherlandish art. This may include preparation for submission of a PhD proposal, dissertation research and writing, and preparing a publication, among other research activities. The Fellowship has a duration of 6 months, and will commence in September 2022.

Director Polet adds: “We would be most grateful if you could share this call for applications with any potential candidates in your network: https://www.mfa.org/collections/center-for-netherlandish-art/fellowships.”
