With the current Covid-19 crisis in mind, the organizers of the upcoming HNA conference regret to inform you that we had to decide to postpone the conference, which was planned for 3–5 June 2021 in Amsterdam and The Hague, the Netherlands. It is now scheduled for 2–4 June 2022 to take place in the same locations. This decision was taken in consultation with the board of HNA.
The program of the conference, as it was planned for June 2021, will be transferred in its entirety to June 2022. It will be published on the HNA website soon. In spring 2021, the program committee will contact the keynote speakers and the chairs of all sessions and workshops in order to see whether all elements of the original program can remain intact in the final program for the 2022 conference. If not, we will open an additional round for the submission of a limited number of sessions and/or papers next spring.
We are exploring the possibility of organizing a small digital event in early June 2021, to mark the original moment of the conference. We will announce this through the HNA website in due course.
We would like to thank all those who have already contributed to the organization and the wonderful program of the next HNA conference. We hope to see each other, under safe and healthy conditions, in June 2022 in Amsterdam and The Hague.
On behalf of the organizing and the program committee, and of HNA,
Frans Grijzenhout, Stijn Bussels, and Paul Crenshaw
