HNA-Vermeer Ticket Raffle

A friend of the HNA has generously donated TWO tickets to the Vermeer exhibition at the Rijksmuseum for Sunday, April 2, with entrance time between 12:00/12:15 pm. We are thrilled to be able to offer an opportunity for you to obtain these hard-to-find-tickets in a raffle we are conducting this week, beginning immediately! We will be raffling off the two tickets together in a single bundle as part of a fundraising effort to support our IDEA committee initiative to raise funds for conference travel scholarships to next summer’s HNA conference, which will be held in Cambridge/London in July 2024.

In order to enter the chance to win these tickets, please donate to this new IDEA initiative on our HNA website: https://hnanews.org/hna-launches-fundraising-campaign/. One raffle ticket will be generated from every $50 donation you make to support this fund. Simply click the button ‘Support HNA IDEA’ at the bottom of that webpage and make your donation(s) in $50 increments. You can, of course, donate more than $50 and purchase more raffle tickets, accordingly. The window for the raffle purchases/donations is open NOW and will end on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at noon (EST). At that time, we will halt the raffle purchases through that site, tally up the names and tickets based on the donations received, and randomly select the raffle winner by using a computer app or by blindly pulling a name/ticket out of a bowl.

The winner will be contacted by Sunday evening or Monday morning, and we will arrange for the digital tickets to the Vermeer show to be sent to your email address for transfer.

This may be the only opportunity you have to see 28 of Vermeer’s known 37 paintings on view together! We invite you to test your luck and take a chance on the raffle, while also donating to a very good cause to assist graduate students and under-resourced scholars to attend the HNA conference next year.
