JHNA Receives Grant for Digital Project

The Journal of Historians of Netherlandish Art has received a grant of $10,000 from the Gladys Krieble Delmas Foundation to support the publication of “From Batavia to the Gold Coast: Mapping Textile Circulation in the Dutch Global Market,” by Carrie Anderson and Marsely Kehoe.  This digital project will include a visual glossary and interactive map, tools that will articulate the diverse ways in which textiles shaped identity in the European and colonial worlds.  This is the second time that the Delmas Foundation has provided support to JHNA; the first (2016) was a grant to upgrade the HNA web platform in order to accommodate publications such as the Textile Mapping Project.
