The Department of Art History at The Pennsylvania State University seeks to appoint a visiting assistant professor of the history of architecture, chronological and geographical specialization open. The appointment will begin on August 1, 2022 and carry the possibility of renewal for a second year. The anticipated course load is 2-2 with service to the department and an active research agenda expected. Preference will be given to candidates who have a PhD in the history of art or architecture or a related discipline. Candidates who are ABD will be considered. MA in the history of art or architecture or related field is required. All applications must include a CV, the names and contact information for three references, and a letter of application.
