The Gemäldegalerie Alte Meister in Dresden organizes a seven-part series of online lectures on the occasion of the exhibition Johannes Vermeer. On Reflection. These curators’ talks take place from 12 October to 14 December and are either in English or German. Advance registration is required and the event is limited to 500 participants. Dr. Xavier F. Salomon, Deputy Director and Peter Jay Sharp Chief Curator at the Frick Collection, will talk about Vermeer’s ‘Girl Interrupted at Her Music’ from the Frick Collection New York. The talk will be followed by a Q&A. The painting is on display in our exhibition ‘Johannes Vermeer. On Reflection’ at the Gemäldegalerie Alte Meister until 2 January 2022.
