Kress Foundation Will Provide Two Grants for the Summer Course on Flemish Art

The Samuel H. Kress Foundation announced that it will provide two grants for US students to participate in the Summer Course on Flemish Art. The grant will cover the cost of the course and round-trip airfare between the US and Belgium. The theme of the course this year is Belgian Fin de Siècle. It will take place between June 24, 2018 – July 4, 2018, and will involve excursions to Ghent, Bruges, Ostend, Brussels, Paris, Namur and Antwerp.

Participants have a master’s degree or are PhD-student, junior curator or restorer and they are specialised in Belgian Fin de Siècle Art. The master’s degree was earned maximum 10 years ago.

All applicants should mail a resume, a letter of motivation and a letter of recommendation from a faculty member or a museum professional before December 1, 2017 to Matthias.Depoorter@vlaamsekunstcollectie.be.
