Art History in SoH offers an undergraduate major and a minor, as well as postgraduate degrees (MA and PhD) in Art History and related interdisciplinary areas. The School of Humanities seeks to fill 1 Lecturer or Senior Lecturer position in Art History.
Requirements
Candidates who have the following qualifications are encouraged to apply: · PhD Degree in Art History, Curatorial Practice, Visual Culture, or related areas · Teaching experience at undergraduate and graduate levels · An active research agenda Successful candidates will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Art History and related areas, supervise undergraduate theses, and contribute to the ongoing development of Art History as an important academic discipline in the school. An ability to teach broadly in the following areas will be an advantage: the history, theory and criticism of art. Interests in global early modern, global modern, and contemporary art history are also of interest. Area(s) of geographic focus are open but may include Europe, the Americas, and/or the Global South.
