Mauritshuis seeks new Director

Following the recent announcement of Emilie Gordenker’s move to the Van Gogh Museum, the Mauritshuis is now advertising the position of director.

The Supervisory Board of the Mauritshuis seeks to appoint a Director as the public face and champion of the museum to deliver these aims, realizing the organization’s strategy 2021-2024. The Director will be a pioneering, inspiring, inclusive and creative leader, with a track record of successful organizational management. Committed to delivering excellence and driving innovation, s/he will have a deep knowledge of seventeenth-century Dutch and Flemish painting. In addition, the Director’s relevant external networks will ensure that the Mauritshuis remains responsive, inclusive and open to new developments in our global society.

The deadline for applications is 09:00 am (CET) on 11th of November 2019. For more information and to apply, see this page on the Mauritshuis website.
