This exhibition examines medieval concepts of time through the diverse portrayals of it within the Morgan Library and Museum’s manuscript holdings. It studies a range of subjects, including: the medieval calendar, sacred feasts, the mysteries of Golden Numbers, the utility of Dominical Letters, and how the Middle Ages inherited the Roman Calendar of Julius Caesar.
