The Frick Art Reference Library, New York, is sponsoring a seminar on early modern Dutch and Dutch paleography during the week of January 14–19, 2019. The course will provide participants with strategies for reading seventeenth-century printed materials as well as an overview of the most common Golden Age scripts. A working knowledge of Dutch is required. The seminar is free and open to the public, but space is limited. For consideration, please send a short letter of interest that outlines how the skills developed in the course will benefit your current research projects to scholarsprogram@frick.org. The deadline for applications is October 15, 2018.
